J D College of Engineering and Management, a constituent of the Goyal Group established in the year 2008, has a distinguished faculty, modern infrastructural facilities and well-equipped laboratories. It is permanently affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Maharashtra and has acquired the status of Autonomy from the year 2019-20.

Currently, the institute offers B. Tech programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. It also offers M. Tech programmes in Electronics & Telecommunication and Computer Science. Research programmes leading to a Ph.D. Degree were introduced in the Faculty of Engineering from 2019-20.

The curriculum developed by the Institute lays stress on both basics and the latest developments. Realizing that faculty is the most important resource, special efforts have been made to find, recruit and retain highly qualified and competent faculty. Infrastructure created and acquired by the Institute is of a very high quality and includes multimedia classrooms, well-equipped labs including software for CAD/CAM, simulations and other applications, a well-stocked modern library with digital media, an auditorium, seminar halls and playgrounds.

The college offers a multicultural learning environment with mesmerizing beauty and an atmosphere for education, shaping the dreams of both faculty and students through systematic and effective planning and control of the teaching-learning process, both within and outside the classroom. The basic teaching-learning process is supplemented by organizing techfests, cultural programmes, sports competitions, industry-institute meets and guest lectures by renowned personalities.
